The St. Pat's Trail, Ides of March, Green Dress and Dress Green. My goodness!
Hares: More Sex, OnaHead, and Where's my Goat!
Wow, too much fun. And almost everyone got into the St. Pats theme. WantaEarnAnA socks were so cute. SheF*&kmetwice brought cute little presents for all us girls. We also got special beads with green shot mugs from our hares! We had a visitor from Arizona, Grannypaties. Nice chap who had a bit of a sunburn going. More about him later.
Need to stop right here and give a big congrats to OnAhead and IBSmart. They got engaged and have really unique matching rings. The 2 of them are like a walking Hallmark Card. I get all choked up every time I think about them.
Ok enough of the sappy sh&t. We started out at the Winn Dixie by the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Beautiful sweet smells coming from that plant. I think they are using some pretty disgusting things to clean up that water.
Our trail was pretty neat and the weather was just amazing. We went through a quiet peaceful park and then over some railroad tracks. (I can't go over railroad tracks without thinking of the scene from "Stand by Me")
We had 2 beer stops which was very appropriate for St. Patty's Day. The Jello shots were very tasty. Didn't get any of the chunky Baileys but I heard stories about it.
Some of us got lost following Just Katie's suggestions on where she thought the trail was headed. It's really our own fault as she had only hashed 3 times. What were we thinking by following her. We were saved by MoreSex, who was sweeping. Gotta love that big month of hers, you can hear her from miles away.
Circle was fun. Sextracredit got called into circle for being gone too long. BenGay drank for being the RA and not calling in Fart and Waterfoul, who had neglected us for quite some time too.. We made them all drink.
Our visitor sang us a fun little song. Don't remember the words, but he kept taking clothes off, so it distracted me a little.
We finally got around to naming Just James. There was much debate on this name. There were many suggestions. Thank God GRC got a hold of us. We might still be there. The 3 finalists were "Larry, MotherMayI and FreewaySpiltHer". Those of you Hashers that were there know why these made the cut. FreeWaySpiltHer was the winner.
Onahead and IBSmart got the Hash*t/Brainless Award for being
silly enough to get engaged. There were no other nominees.
Better stop here before I get all choked up again.

Where: Meet in the Winn Dixie parking lot, located at 8424 Sheldon Rd, in Tampa, Florida 33615.
When: Meet at 5:00 PM, pack away on trail at 6:00 PMish.
Directions: Click here for a map.
From Wesley Chapel, to the north: Go south on I-75, south on I-275, west on Busch, at Exit 50 for 3.4 miles, left, or south on Dale Mabry for 1 miles, right, or west on Waters for about 5 miles, and find the Winn Dixie on the right just prior to Sheldon.
From St. Petersburg, to the south: Go north on I-275 across Tampa Bay, north on the Veterans Express way at Exit 39B, left on the Memorial Hwy at Exit 3 for 3.7 miles, which becomes Sheldon after crossing Hillsborough Blvd and find the Winn Dixie on the right after crossing Waters.
From Brandon, to the east: Go north on I-75, west on I-4, north on I-275, left, or west on Hillsborough, at Exit 47B for about 8 miles, right on Sheldon and find the Winn Dixie on the right just after crossing Waters.
From Clearwater, to the west: Go east on FL Hwy 60, right, or south on the Veterans Expressway for .7 miles, right, or west on the Memorial Hwy, at Exit 3, for 3.7 miles, which becomes Sheldon after crossing Hillsborough Blvd and find the Winn Dixie on the right just after crossing Waters.
Theme: Dress appropriately for St. Patty's Day weekend and the Ides of March.
Cost: $5 donation.
On After: The on after will be at Charann's, located at 6821 West Hillsborough Ave. To get there from the starting location, go south on Sheldon for 2.1 miles, left, or east on Hillsborough for 1.6 miles, left on Sawyer and make an immediate right into the Charann's parking lot.
Hares: McMoreSex , McWhere'sMyGoat and O'OnAhead will be the hares.
