Hare Blessing

The eagle has landed, or maybe a Pheonix
And the pack is all ready for Porto's antics
We'll all try to catch him
But the light is too dim
Hel'll probably leave us in the sticks

The first rail by Porto, he's leading the pack
I hope he is smart and doesn't backtrack
He'll be easy to hide
Cause he's on the short-side
His growth was stunted by crack!

A speedy trail is just what we need
So look for a trail that goes through the weeds
It's shiggy we want
For a after-dark jaunt
By the end, our legs will be bloodied

Bless this hare
Bless this trail
Golfers no catchus
Gophers no trip us
In the name of the flour
And the fun
And the holy run

Where: Meet in the University of Phoenix parking lot, located in the northeast corner of Independence and Anchor Plaza Pkwy next to the Veterans Expressway. The address is 4805 Independence Pkwy, in Tampa, Florida.

When: Meet at 6:30 PM, on trail at 7:30 PM sharp.

Directions: Click here for a map. Please note, if coming from the west on Independence you cannot turn left onto Anchor Plaza Pkwy because there is no break in the median and you will end up on the Veterans Expressway. Recommend you take the Memorial Hwy to Anchor Plaza Pkwy and head south.
- From Wesley Chapel, to the north: Go south on I-75, south on I-275, right, or west on Hillsborough Blvd for 2.7 miles, left, or south on George Road for 1.4 miles and find the University of Phoenix on the right.
- From St. Petersburg, to the south: Go north on I-275, north on the Veterans Expressway/Memorial Hwy/FL 60, at Exit 39 B, for 2.4 miles, merge onto Independence Pkwy, at Exit 2b, on the left, for .5 miles and find the University of Phoenix on the right.
- From Brandon, to the east: Go north on I-75, west on I-4, south on I-275 for 5.2 miles, north on the Veterans Expressway/Memorial Hwy/FL 60, at Exit 39, for 2.2 miles, merge onto Independence Pkwy, at Exit 2b, on the left, for .5 miles and find the University of Phoenix on the right.
- From Clearwater, to the west: Go east on FL Hwy 60, south on the Veteran's Expressway for .3 miles, merge onto Independence Pkwy, at Exit 2b, on the left, for .5 miles and find the University of Phoenix on the right.

Shiggy Rating: 4 on a scale of 1-5.

Remarks: Make sure you bring a flashlight as it will be very dark out and there will be lots of shiggy.

Hare: Port-o-Pussy will be the hare. More info to follow.

On After: The on after will be at the Wing House, located at 8001 W Hillsborough Ave. To get there from the starting location, go northwest on Independence, left on Memorial, right on Hillsborough and find the Wing House on the left. Click here for a map.
