Hare: Casual Friday

WELCOME! Despite thickening clouds, wanks poured into the over-flow parking area of Weedon Island Preserve South Paddling Trail with colorful boats on parade. Pre-circle was conducted in the preserve’s shady pavilion. We welcomed back Chester the Molester and They Float, who had been gone way too long. Trail markings were reviewed as the color-coded pole-checks (visual?) were nothing like wankers were used to seeing on running hash trails. Kayaks of all styles were off-loaded by the fishing pier and two on-trail beer angels (More Sex and On Ahead), along with an on-trail shot girl (Fa Q) were appointed special on-trail duties. Yay for volunteers! After a bout of kayak rolls and dumps, a round of musical kayaks was played and the pack was off and paddling!

TRAIL (caution: crabs on trail!): The 4-mile hash trail looped around small islands and lead us through mangrove tunnels. They Float made a good boat trade as she eventually stopped swamping her boat and made some headway. The Wonder Twins (Goolight Special and Scrapawhoreus) were quite entertaining with their lack of ability to make a right turn in the tunnels. Dabadoo was the aft paddling engine on team Lightning/Dabadoo; as Lightning did a good job of combing her hair and fixing her lipstick while Dab’s knees were locked in hyperextension. Semper Bi did her best to stay afloat in a yellow cigar; going overboard was not half as entertaining as her attempts of re-boarding, despite Ed the Sock's attempts of helping her out. The beer and shot angels were in the DFL pack, it was a darn shame we had twice as much to drink as the FRBs pressed-on through the hash halts as if this were a live trail. Thanks to More Sex and Where’s My Goat, I now know the beauty of the sound of a champagne cork releasing itself from the top of a bottle in the middle of open calm water. GRC was paddling animal cargo in her newly acquired red rocket; she managed to paddle the entire trail without knocking either one of the dogs unconscious. Taint Tickler, while trying to win the dead trail, managed to yaw his way for an extra 69 miles of trail.

CIRCLE UP: Trail trial proved to be predictable; not enough mangrove branches to pierce vital organs, and there were too many numbers on trail; as we all know hashers cannot count! On-Ahead got tied up for 175 hashes; holy cow! The FRB award was handed to the new FRB queen, It’s Starting to Bleed. Seems she was at the stern of the team Saigon Sally/Bleeds boat and dismounted first. Dab cleansed the skull and gave it to Taint Tickler as he was voted-in brainless for blowing through vital hash halts just to get lost on trail. I am not sure what the ruling was on Taint eating the cheesy balls from the skull before his down-down, the jury is still out on that one. They Float & Chester The Moleter were noted for being gone too long, and Taint had to drink for faking a hammerhead shark sighting on trail. Little Arr-U was sound asleep by the time swing low was delivered, and the weary but happy pack got a piece.

On-On!
Casual Friday.
