Tonight we get to hash with some dead guys!
And we'll see some scary ghosts before our eyes!

While Balls will take us through creepy tombstones,
Rash will throw lots of powder on some old bones.

A Tour of Death is promised, but do not fear--
If we stick close together, we’ll make it to beer near!

Repeat after me!

Bless these hares,

Coppus no catch us,
Dead guy no haunt us,
Old bones no trip us,
and ghostly moans no scare us!

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

Where: Meet in the Garden of Memories Funeral Home parking lot, located at 4207 E Lake Ave, in Tampa, FL.

When: Meet at 6:30 PM, on trail at 7:30 PM sharp!

From I-4 and I-275, in Central Tampa: Go east on I-4 for 2.6 miles. Take the Columbus Dr exit, at Exit 3, on the left, towards US-41/50th St for .4 miles. Go left on E Columbus Dr for .3 miles. Make a slight right onto E 19th Ave for .3 miles. Make a slight right onto N 40th St/FL-560 N for .6 miles. Go right onto E Lake Ave for .1 mile and find the funeral home on the right just prior to 43rd St.

From Wesley Chapel, to the north: From FL-54, go south on I-75 for 14.5 miles. Merge onto I-4 W via Exit 261 toward Tampa for 4 miles. Take the SR-574 exit, at Exit 5 for .4 miles. Merge onto Dr Martin Luther King Blvd/FL-574 for 1 mile. Make a slight left onto E Lake Ave for .6 miles and find the funeral home on the left, just after 43rd St.

From Riverview, to the south: From I-75, go north on US-301 N until you get to the Crosstown Expressway. Go west on the Expressway for 4.2 miles. Take the 39th St exit, at Exit 10 for .3 miles. Go right on N 39th St/FL-569 for 1.4 miles. FL-569 becomes 40th St/FL-599. Follow it for .3 miles. Go right on E Lake Ave for .1 mile and find the funeral home on the right just prior to 43rd St.

From Lakeland, to the east: From US-92, go west on I-4 for 23.4 miles. Take the SR-574 W exit, at Exit 5 for .4 miles. Merge onto Dr Martin Luther King Blvd/FL-574 for 1 mile. Make a slight left onto E Lake Ave for .6 miles and find the funeral home on the left, just after 43rd St.

From Clearwater, to the west: Go east on FL-60 across Tampa Bay to I-275. Go north on I-275 for 5.4 miles. Merge onto I-4 E at Exit 45B toward Orlando for 2.6 miles. Take the Columbus Dr exit, at Exit 3, on the left, towards US-41/50th St for .4 miles. Go left on E Columbus Dr for .3 miles. Make a slight right onto E 19th Ave for .3 miles. Make a slight right onto N 40th St/FL-560 N for .6 miles. Go right onto E Lake Ave for .1 mile and find the funeral home on the right just prior to 43rd St.

Trail: This will be a 3 mile, stroller & dog friendly trail through cemeteries. However, some teamwork may be needed to get the strollers through some areas. So, stay together.

Remarks: There are 9 cemeteries in the area and hares plan to take us through most of them. Make sure you bring a FLASHLIGHT as this trail will be in the dark!

Hares: LostMyBalls & Rash4Days will be the hares.

Cost: $6 donation.

On After: The on after will be at Me Mas Alaskan Tacos, located at 1724 E 8th St, in Tampa (YBor City), FL. To get there from the starting location, go left, or west, on E Lake Ave for .1 mile. Go left on N 40th/US-41/FL-569 for .3 miles. Go right on E 7th Ave/CR-574 for 1.4 miles. Go right on Angel Oliva Senior St, make and immediate left onto 8th Ave for .1 mile and find Me Mas Aslaskan Tacos on the right. Click here for a map.
