KittyLitter (KL), SaigonSally and Gator were the hares. We had 4 out of town visitors, Pump&Hump, Dickfibrulator, LateNightDriverThru & AssSpelunrker. However, Pump&Hump and Dickfibrulator are becoming regular commuters. This was AssSpelunker's 1st visit to the JRH3. We also had two virgins, DogF*cker's friend, JustJennifer and GoolgeF*ckAmazon's friend, JustRick. AssSpelunker was the overall FRB and LostMyBalls won the Brainless Award for being gone way too long.
To our surprise, KittyLitter (KL) declared his trail to be a pick up hash during chalk talk. Pick up hashes are normally done when nobody volunteers to be the hare. What's supposed to happen, is the Hare Raiser identifies a starting location and brings two maps with the beer stop(s) and ending location identified on it. Next, the pack would randomly pick someone to be the hare. The hare is given one map and the beer truck driver is given the other. The hare is normally not given enough time to finish trail and is expected to get caught. If the first hare does get caught, he/she gives the map to the new hare and then the new hare continues to set trail until he/she either gets caught or makes it to the end. The hare keeps changing until one of the hares finally makes it to the end. Its a good idea for the Hare Raiser to identify a time that the hares should try to be at the end too so trail doesn't continue forever.
In the future, if anybody wants to intentionally do a pick up hash, please pre-coordinate it with JRH3 Mismanagement and then plan it out as described above. For more information on how to hare for the JRH3 click here.
At the on after, KL led us through several fun hash songs and picked up the tab for chili mac. Thanks KL. We all appreciated that.
