Hare Blessing
.

We're here to play in another Adventure Hash
Be careful you don't fall and collect some road rash
PetMeI'mDrunk has labored over trail
So we'll sweat out 20 pound of water weight from our tail
We're all crazy for hashing in the heat of the day
Beer near better be just minutes away!

Repeat after me:

Bless these hares
Bless this trail
Blister no stop us
Wheels no break us
Pavement no shread us
Wrists no sprain us

In the name of the flour
The fun
And the holy run

On Out!

PetMeI'mDrunk was the hare. FatBastard was the FRB, and SaigonSally got the Brainless Award because this was his last JRH3 trail as he is leaving.

Dab

Holy busted boots Batman, I haven’t laughed this hard in a while—what a riot! I have to hand it to PetMeI’mDrunk for laying trail in 169 degree heat and sending us wanks-on-skates through sidewalk construction, up and down cement stairs, through brick streets and sand parking lots. I had no doubt in my mind she pre-laid trail in her running shoes. A-for-effort to PetMe for doing her best to mark the pot holes on trail with chalk to give us a wanks-on-skates craniums-up; but not sure it really mattered after skating down brick streets and dragging our wheels through sand. A few wankers found out the hard way that a pair of $69 in-line skates won’t last much longer than 22 years; and I found out that “smokingbumcock” beneath an overpass just gets a Harriet dirty knees and a bad reputation. Thank you Hot Quarter Load for giving us the opportunity to draw “hasher down” twice within 30 feet of each other; I can still picture the line of wheels fighting to stay on the skate (hilarious). Kudos to the pack for keeping track of 690 check backs which primed the us up for skating into water fountains to cool down. Naturally some wanks who hadn’t skated in a few years forgot that wet wheels = big trouble. Big thanks to FatBastard for staying in the back of the pack riding in first gear on his cycle so the skaters could clear the checks. I enjoyed watching FB overtake the sand-bagging ShipWrecktum when Ship fought at the last 20 yards with his reserved energy to attempt to win the hash; we’ll enjoy seeing FatBastard sport the chain around his neck this Wednesday evening.

For those wanks who started on skates and ended in socks, played musical running shoes to accommodate wanks-without-wheels, and to TaintTickler for finishing trail wearing the 6940-pound weight vest; you all deserve a round of applause! Thank you MathSucks for your beer angel duties, and thanks also to PetMe and HPV for driving the beer van. Rectal, as always, thanks for watching my rear and keeping me laughing on trail with your mad skating skills. Thank you to all wanks who showed up on a hot Sunday afternoon to participate in classic Jolly Roger H3 fun!

Most of all and sadly, we on-awayed our favorite hasher, Saigon Sally with flour and hugs. We all wish him lots of luck and hashy fun in his new location in Stuttgart, Germany!
