Hare Blessing
.

Oh my God its hot
Hashing anyplace else, I think not

We have two great hares to lead the way
And in a beautiful end of Tampa Bay

We're on an island so that makes this and adventure
But, watch out for raccoons and armadillos, soldier's ghosts and fisherman with bait in their pail

Repeat After Me:

Bless these hares
Bless this trail
Animals no bite us
Rangers no find us
And beer no drunk us

Which way do we go?

Hash Trash
.

Coly 3-hour-tour, it was quite the adventure hash in Ft. Desoto! Eight virgins showed up to vie for “King for a Day” status as they came from near and far, some by land and some by sea. The hares Taint and Rainbow were spent as they labored 69 hours in the hot sun laying flour and placing contraband on trail; just to be washed away when the rains hit. As the beaches were evacuated, us tough hashers trudged-on through swamp and sand to set arm-fulls of sand dollars free (thank you HPV and Lepracock for helping me) and to find the contraband on trail--to no avail. Bed&Buckfest fell hook-line-and-sinker to backtrack trail to give word to the beer van that was stuck in evacuation traffic, the location of the pack’s makeshift beer stop. Lepracock wanted to wear MommaFuckle’s Undies Version 2.0 on Friday night, so he raced me for FRB status through the rain. A virgin harrier won the King for a Day competition and coveted 2 virgin harriettes through-out circle. AccidentalAnal won the brainless award for abandoning his boat in .69 inches of water and 4 wankers (you know who you are!) who DID NOT help push the boat to the channel received a well-deserved down-down. JustRussell received his hash name, and he will now and forever be known as, until we decide to change it, “Locked Up A Broad.”

Thank you hares for putting forth much effort laying trail in the heat of the day, and thank you WannaEarnAnA for driving the beer van through the park evacuation and playing beer angel. Most of all, thanks to all wanks who showed up on the holiday weekend to hash, and kept your sense of humor and hashing spirit alive when the skies turned wicked. I know you all think I messed-up by not putting in an order for sunny skies and warm breezes, but as you see, my Religious Advisor Master Plan worked terrifically as the grills were all abandoned, the Park Rangers were busy directing traffic, and we were left alone to drink as much beer as we wanted and got the pick of the park to grill-out!

On-On!

On After: Cook out on after. Kind of like an end-of-summer cook out. Bring those big juicy hunkin' sausages, steaks, burgers, or whatever kind of meat you want to put on the grill. The hares will provide grilling materials, plates & flatware (charcoal, lighter fluid, plates and utensils). Bring a side dish if you like (no not chips, the hash provides that). Suggest a vegetable, salad, macaroni & cheese, desert, etc to share. To make sure we don't all bring the same thing, send an email to dab@jollyrogerh3.com stating what you plan to bring to share and how much. At least bring enough for yourself, in case nobody brings anything to share. This is not an RSVP event. Or, if you don't bring a side dish, donate and extra dollar so we can at least reimburse the hares for their cooking supplies.

Who's Bringing What: Click here to find out what's side dishes are being brought and by whom.
