Where: Meet at the Weedon Island Preserve, canoe launch and fishing pier, located about 1 mile past 1500 Weedon Dr NE, in St Petersburg, FL. Its at the very end of Wedon Island Dr NE. Park your vehicle and circle up in the parking area on the left, about 1/2 mile before the launch point.
What: This is a kayak paddling hash at Weedon Island Preserve. There will be an A to A preset trail along the shore of the water ways with 1 beverage stop. Click

Meet at 12:30 PM for Bloody Marys, on trail at 1:30 PMish.Directions: Click
here for a map. Go to that point & then continue to the end of Weedon Island Dr NE.From I-275 and Dale Mabry Hwy, in Central Tampa: Go south on Dale Mabry for 4.2 miles. Go right, or west on Gandy Blvd for 7.3 miles. Go left, or south on San Martin Blvd NE for 1 miles. Go left on Weedon Island Dr NE for about 2 miles until it ends.
From I-275 & Gandy/Pinellas Park/Exit 28, in St Pete: Go east on Gandy for 2.5 miles. Go right, or south on San Martin Blvd NE for 1 miles. Go left on Weedon Island Dr NE for about 2 miles until it ends.
Remarks:
You must bring your own kayak or canoe (kayak recommended). Also suggest you bring bug spray and sun block.Kayak Rentals: Call 727-570-4844 Sweetwater Kayak rentals at Weedon Island Preserve. They have kayaks available to rent right there where we are launching from.
Hares: GRC will be the hare and is looking for a co-hare.
Religious Advisor: Ship Wrectum wil be the RA.
On Sec: Dab
On After: The on after will be a cookout in the picnic area at Weedon Island Preserve. The JRH3 will provide the meat & continued beverage. Request everyone bring a side dish. Please check the Who's Coming List below to make sure we all don't bring the same thing.
Suggested Donations:
