Attendees from this hash were invited by Semper Bi for a Tampa Bay H3 beer tasting social at the Florida Avenue - Cold Storage Brewery between 1 and 4 PM. Immediately following, there was a Jolly Roger H3 hash starting from behind the Independent Bar and Cafe, which was about 1/2 mile north of the brewery. Attendance to both events was rather low, due to the thunderstorms that hit the area between 2 and 4 PM. However, as usual, the weather started getting better just before the hash started. Once more example that God loves hashing. Ship Wrecktum and Head Plant Vagina were the hares, F*ckleUp was the FRB, Access All Areas was the FRB and Dances With Seaman won the Brainless Award. About 2 minutes prior to the end of circle, which was back at the start, a staff member from the Independent Bar came out and told us we couldn't do what were doing there because they could loose their license. So, we did a quick Swing Low, shut down the circle and moved the on after to the Refinery, which was about 1/4 mile north of the Independent Bar. All in all it was just another shitty hash and everyone had a good time.

Where: Meet at the Florida Avenue - Cold Storage Brewery, located at 4101 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL for beer tasting, hosted by the Tampa Bay H3 (TBH3), followed by a Jolly Roger H3 (JRH3) hash trail that will start behind the Independent Bar & Cafe', located at 5016 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL. Meet in the right rear, NW side of the bar. Its .6 north of the brewery. When: Meet at the brewery between 1 and 4 PM (suggest about 2:30 PM) for beer tasting. Immediately following, meet behind the Independence Bar, for the hash, around 4 PMish. Pack away on trail at 5 PMish. Directions: From I-275 & I-4, in central Tampa, go north on I-275 for .7 miles to Exit 46B. Go left, or west on E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd for .3 miles. Go right, or north, on N Florida Ave and find the Cold Storage Brewery on the right, immediately after crossing W Ida St. Then, to get to the hash starting location, continue north on Florida Ave for .6 miles and find the Independent Bar & Cafe' on the left. Click here for a map. Hostess & Hare: Semper Bi has invited the JRH3 hash attendees to the TBH3 beer tasting at the Florida Avenue - Cold Storage Brewery and will act as the TBH3 hostess. Ship Wrecktum will be the JRH3 hare on the trail. Trail: This will be a 3 mile dead hare/preset, dog & stroller friendly trail, with a shiggy level of 1, on a 1-5 scale, with 5 being the toughest.

Donations: Beer tasting at the brewery costs $10 (CASH ONLY PLEASE) paid directly to the brewery, which gets you a Florida Avenue pint glass and 3-4 beer tastings. For the hash afterwards, suggest $6 for drinkers and $3 for non-drinkers to be paid separately to the JRH3 Hash Cash.

Hash Raffle: Yes! There will be a hash raffle. So, bring your junk (no, not that kind of junk) to donate. One person's trash is another person's treasure.
