Trail Directions & Info
Where: Meet in the old Gandy Foot Bridge parking area on the east side of the Tampa Bay. An approximate address is 5271 W Gandy Blvd, in Tampa, FL 33622. Its actually not on Gandy. Its on a service road that runs parallel to Gandy to the north just before Gandy crosses the bay. For a map, go to http://goo.gl/maps/0BJcl.
When: Meet at 6:30 PM, on trail at 7:30 PM.
Directions:
From I-275 & Dale Mabry, in central Tampa, go south on Dale Mabry for 4.1 miles. Go right or west on Gandy for 1.9 miles. Turn right on the 3rd street past West Shore and be careful NOT to cross Tampa Bay. Make an immediate left onto the service road that parallels Gandy to the north and follow it to the end where you will find a parking area just shy of the bay and at the he entrance to the old Gandy foot bridge. For a map, go to http://goo.gl/maps/rV7i.Trail: This will be a 3+ mile, pre-laid trail with one beer stop and a shiggy level of 3
on a 1-5 scale, with 5 being the toughest. Bring a change of clothes with you as you will get wet!Hare: Liquor In The Front Poke Her In The Eye will be the "dead" hare.
Donations: Suggest $7 for drinkers and $3 for non-drinkers.
On After: The on after will be at Hooters, located at 4420 W Gandy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33611. To get there from the starting location, go east on the service road for 0.3 mile. Go left/east on Gandy for 1.1 miles and find Hooters on the right just prior to Manhattan. For a map, go to
