Hazukashii was the hare, Rectal Room Mate was the RA, 2 Rung Circus was the FRB, Virgin Coral was the FBI and Capt Blow Boat & Downward Dog won the Brainless Award.
Commentary (Expanded Hash Trash)
The weather looked like it was going to get the best of us, after raining all afternoon. But as we pulled up to the start, the sky started to lighten up, and the rain tapered off, until . . . it was just another cloudy day. The ground was wet at hares (Hazukashii) away, but the rain held off for the rest of the evening. Since there was no time to mark the turkey cutoff, instructions were given for the walkers to turn around at the beer check, which had been moved to the first half of the trail, so they could go out 1.5 miles, and return. The eagles though, continued on for another 3 miles. Overall, we found plenty of off road terrain for this section of St Pete, and all was well . . . we even found a handful of homeless sights. At the finish, it was the walkers first in, then 2 Rung headed up the runners, and we eventually were all standing tall in the parking lot. The usual down downs occurred, and then Rectal sent us off to find dinner. The planned on after was closed, so we found a food truck (Big Dawgz) outside a funky little tea bar, and watched the Bolts win game 2 of the Stanley Cup. Good times all around. That's it for me folks . . . I'm outta here for the summer. I will literally be Looking Over Jordon by Sunday. And what did I see? Well, keep your eye on FB, and you might just find out. On On
