Dab

Commentary (Expanded Hash Trash)

Well, it was another shitty Haz trail, so no need to go into to much detail. Gathering across the street from the Coppertail Brewery, the pack anxiously awaited what they thought would be a snare fest . . . but their hopes were completely dashed, once again. Trail started out by taking advantage of some sidewalk, but soon crashed through some shrubbery and pitter-patted through the Ikea parking lot. Circling around the store, trail then banked into the grass around a small runoff pond, and back onto the street.

Crossing the railroad tracks, then under the Selmon Expressway, trail eventually made its way down to Desoto Park, where it zig-zagged its way around the few buildings, and then headed east on the bike trail. Looping behind the furniture warehouse through the grass, the pack next popped out on 34th St right in front of the Police Impound Lot. Finding the first of two turkey/eagle splits, the eagles jumped through a hole in the fence and enjoyed a bit of dirt trails through the Nature Park, before jumping a wall and merging with the turkeys again right at the beer stop.

Passing back under the Selmon Expressway, trail then headed west on Adamo, until they found the second turkey/eagle split at the railroad tracks. From here, the eagles ran up the tracks for a ways before switching lines and heading the other way. From there, it was just bouncing back and forth around some blocks, before making it back to meet up the turkeys once again, in front of the Coppertail Brewery. It was back across Adamo from there, and on in to the finish.

The entire pack gathered back up within a 10 minute span, with the walkers all coming in first before the runners. Beer was poured to relieve the thirst of the pack. A circle explored their inner thoughts of dread, and all was right in the world. Breaking camp with plenty of time for the on after, half the pack made its way back over to the Coppertail Brewery for some pub grub and brews. It was great to see my old friend Dog F&*%er. And that’s all I got to say about that.
