Hare's Hash Trash

This was a one hour social followed by a rather lengthy on-board-ship trail using sticky tabs. Trail immediately went up several flights of stair and then gradually came back down ending on the round staircase in the center of the ship where we all posed for photos in our pirate garb. Hazukashii caught me at about the half way point. From the end we all went to a group dinner in the Manahattan Room.

The trail map below is fake! Trail was aboard a moving ship so the GPS would only show the course the ship was taking during trail. Its supposed to be funny.

All in all, it was just another shitty trail!

10 AM - Line-up for Port Shuttle for a 10:30 AM Departure: Ask the front desk where to meet for the shuttle. You must reserve seats in advance, on Fri, Jan 26th, at the hotel front desk. This is not a private shuttle. We may will be sharing with other hotel guests. Be prepared to take a taxi or Uber if seats run out.

11 AMish - Check in to Board Ship: Check in at Cruise Terminal 5 for the Norwegian Cruise Line Ship Escape, 9245 Charles M Rowland Dr, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920, https://maps.app.goo.gl/JV9nPcGoyFaFgXtQ8. To board, you must have your boarding pass & passport (or in lieu of a passport, "a certified" birth certificate & photo ID, driver's license, military, or state ID).

3:30 PM: You must be aboard the ship NLT 3:30 PM, 2 hours prior to sailing. The ship sails at 5:30 PM.

Once Aboard Ship: Put your mobile phone on Airplane Mode to avoid erroneous charges and make your tender boarding reservations.

Tender Boarding Reservations:  Obtain tender boarding reservations to Great Stirrup Cay and Grand Cayman at Guest Services, Deck 6, Mid Ship, Port Side (left side), https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/escape/deck-plans, or on one of the Video Screens around the ship as soon as you board the ship. You will need it on Sun morning for Great Stirrup Cay and Wed for Grand Cayman in order to board the EARLY tenders. Without early reservations, you have to use general boarding and you might wind up missing the hash trails at those locations.
4 PMish - Mandatory Safety Drill Briefing: Watch the briefing on your phone, tablet or laptop and then proceed to your designated muster station to have your room key scanned. This should be one of the first things you do upon boarding the ship, as the ship cannot depart until everyone has completed this task. Muster stations are written on the backside of your cabin door.

 4:30 - 5:30 PM: JRH3 Onboard Registration: Go to Dab & GRC’s cabin, #14820 https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/escape/deck-plans, to check in and collect your Bootie Bag, if you hadn't already done so Fri, at the hash hotel.

Bon Voyage: 5:30 PM: Off we go! The ship is ARRs.

5:30ish - 6:30 PMish - Meet, Greet & Drink!: District Brew House, Deck 8, Port Side, Fwd Ship, https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/escape/deck-plans. Wear your "full pirate gear" (No toy or real weapons please. We're just pretend pirates!). This is a no host, pay-as-you-go social, if you don't have the liquor package!

6:30 PMish - JRH3 Trail #1675 - Photoshoot Trail: Chalk talk in Brew House and ON-OFF on trail (some time between 6:30 and 7:30 PM) that leads to a "secret" photo shoot location, hared by Dab, the JRH3 Founder, GM and your hash cruise host. We follow sticky tabs instead of flour on trails aboard the ship (No running please!). We will be going directly from the trail's end/photo shoot location to dinner in our pirate attire. So make sure you have everything you need with you.

Dining Reminder: Since most of you have Specialty Dining included with your cabin purchase, suggest you make these reservations as early as possible before they fill up. 

Late Night - ON-ON AFTER: During dinner our Mistress Of Misadventures (MOM), Math Sucks... will come around to our dinner tables and advise us on our late night "group" activity.
