Donations
m

  • Regular Attendee: Normally we ask for a $6 standard donation for drinkers and $3 dollars for non-drinkers to cover beverages (water), snacks and $1 for people who consume nothing to cover advertising, awards and other miscellaneous overhead. Hashers who do not donate the standard donation will not be recognized during the down downs and will not be given awards.

  • Two Timers: Two timers (hashers on their second JRH3 trail, within 2 weeks) are free, unless its a special event. Then, they will only get the standard donation amount off ($6 for drinkers/$3 for non-drinkers). You will be expected to donate the extra amount for the special event.

  • Recruitment: Bring two virgins to a particular hash and you run for free, unless its a special event. Then, they will only get the standard donation amount off ($6 for drinkers/$3 for non-drinkers).  You will be expected to donate the extra amount for the special event.

  • Hares: Up to three hares do not need donate the standard donations when they set trail. However, they will be expected to donate the "extra amount" for special events, or when food is furnished at an addition charge. In addition, the hares are expected to pay for their own marking materials. If there are more than three hares then each additional hare is expected to contribute the normal donation amount. In order to be a hare you must actually lay trail. Just acting as a beer truck driver, or sweeping does not make you a hare.

  • Authorized Hash Cash Expenditures: This is a non-profit organization. All monies collected will eventually get spent back on the hash. Beer and snacks are an obvious expense. Hash cash is also authorized to be spent on ice, bottled water, chick beer (wine coolers & mixed drinks), soda, coolers, beer meisters, cups, koosies, administrative supplies, trash cans, icons, haberdashery, etc and just about any other items, or expenditures that support the hash. However, you must get preapproval from the Hash Cash on your expenses.
