Welcome Aboard: Ye time is nigh to start preparing for the 15th Annual Jolly Roger Hash House Harriers Pirate Invasion Hash Cruise (JRH3 PIHC) and the 21st birthday of the JRH3! But first, we must commandeer a ship. We've selected a fine lady, the MS Escape of Norwegian Cruise Lines, setting sail Sat, Jan 27th thru Sat, Feb 3rd, in the year of our Lord, 2024. This will be a 7 night, 4 destination hash cruise out of the Port of Canaveral, FL. Destinations include Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas; Falmouth, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; and Cozumel, Mexico, Ship Route.

Hash Trails: There will be at least 3 trails on board ship and 1 trail at each of our 4 destinations, for at total of 7 hash trails, in 7 days.

Special Events & Suggested Attire: Wear a pirate costume as we commander the ship for the first day's trail and dinner, https://www.yandy.com/pirate-costumes.php. Wear your finest dinner attire for formal night on the 2nd evening. Don a tutu during our Feb 2nd (2/2) trail, http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Non-Sew-Tutu. Strap on a kilt for our final farewell evening’s “Swing Low” Dinner, https://sportkilt.com/. Wear a white or black-light-reactive wear for the Glow Party; date/time TBA by NCL.

Schedule: The below schedule is abbreviated. More details will be announced on the Daily Itineraries, above. that will be created when we draw closer to our sailing date.

Fri, Jan 26th: 4-6 PM: JRH3 Pre-Registration & JRH3 Bootie Bag pick-up at the Four Points by Sheraton (hash hotel), in the 2nd floor, small conference room, in Cocoa Beach, FL. Then, attend a Pre-lube Hash, at 6:30 PM, starting from a location at, or near, the hash hotel. This is an extra credit trail hosted by the Brevard County H3 and is not included in the REGO fee.

Sat, Jan 27th All Aboard: Board ship from about 11 to 2:30 PM, or according to your reservation time. Board the ship at the NCL terminal, at 9245 Charles Rowland Drive Port Canaveral, FL 32920. You must be on the ship NLT 3:30 PM, or you will not be allowed to board. The ship sails at 5:30 PM sharp! Then join fellow hashers for the 15th Annual JRH3 PICH Hash Social/Group Photo Trail at 6:00 PM aboard ship.

Sun, Feb Jan 28th: Great Stirrup Cay Invasion & Trail: 8 AM - 5 PM (Tender Port).

Mon, Jan 29th Full Day at Sea: Mimosa Mile, Walk the Plank Hash, formal night dinner. The JRH3 is 21 today!

Tue, Jan 30th, Falmouth, Jamaica Invasion & Trail: 8AM - 5 PM.

Wed, Jan 31st, Grand Cayman Invasion & Trail: 8 AM - 4PM (Tender Port).

Thu, Feb 1st, Cozumel Invasion & Trail: 10 AM- 6 PM.

Fri, Feb 2nd: Hash O'Limp Dicks, Cabin-To-Cabin Tutu Crawl & Swing Low/Farewell Dinner: Win prizes during Hash O'Limp Dicks during this full day at sea.

Sat, Feb 3rd, Livers Rejoice: Ship docks at Port of Canaveral about 7 AM.

Costs: There are two costs associated with this "hash" cruise. There's the hash registration (REGO) fee that is paid to the JRH3 and then there's the cruise cost that is paid to NCL through our designated travel agent. You must first REGO and be approved first before attempting to book your cabin.

Hash Registration Fee: The hash REGO fee is $75 and it pays for 7 hash trails (3 on board ship and 4 at the destinations), down down beer at non-NCL owned, off-ship destinations, pirate booty (gimmies), for prizes (during the hash games) and for other miscellaneous expenses and complimentary items. Additionally, you're encouraged to have the liquor package included in your cabin as the hash will not be supplying any alcoholic beverages aboard ship. Note: Non-hasher friends and relatives that want to sail with us but do not attend our group events DO NOT need to purchase hash REGOs.

Hash Registration: Register for the hash online using HASH REGO, at https://hashrego.com/events/jrh3-hash-cruise-2024. You can pay online using the HASH REGO app, through Venmo (preferred), or you can send $75 thru Venmo on your own, at https://venmo.com/RICHARD-GEERS. We also accept payments online thru Zelle. The email address and phone number to be used, if needed, are dab@jollyrogerh3.com and 1 (813) 943-4855. If using Venmo, be sure your payment is for "Personal" and not "Business", otherwise you will be subject to additional fees. Or, if you want to pay for your REGO the old fashion way by mailing a check or money order, make it payable to RICHARD GEERS, 7007 ORVICTI CT, WESLEY CHAPEL, FL 33544. Sorry, we no longer accept PayPal.

Booking Your Cabin: To be part of the Jolly Roger H3 Group, it's essential that you book through our "official" JRH3 travel agent. Size matters (that's what she said)! It's the size of our group that NCL uses to determine the benefits for our group. The more members in our group, the more points we accumulate to be used toward on-board ship credits, private events and perks. So please do your part by being part of our JRH3 Group. Otherwise, you will be subject to additional fees to get yourself transferred into our group.

Military Discounts: Military discounts are available with "PRE-REGISTRATION" on id.me. Register at "ID.me", https://www.Id.me to get the discount. THIS MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO MAKING YOUR FINAL PAYMENT.

Group Rate Cabin Costs: These below prices were our group rate prices guaranteed until Sep 20th, 2023. The prices were based on double occupancy and include the liquor package, 2 specialty dinners, port fees and taxes. Prices will likely increase after Sep 20th 2023 to the higher "going rate". The longer you wait to reserve a cabin, the higher the prices will likely be.

    Interior Cabin (with no windows): $2,531.00
    Ocean View Cabin (with a window): $2,827.84
    Balcony Cabin: $3,137.08
    Club Balcony Cabin: $3,250.70

Once again, you must use our designated travel agent to be part of our group or you will be subject to additional fees.

Tips & Gratuities: Cabin tips & gratuities are extra and are NOT automatically included with the purchase of your cabin, as other tips and gratuities are! And they are a lot harder to be removed if you are unhappy with your service after the fact. So, we recommend against pre-paying cabin tips and gratuities in advance.

Other Additional Costs: Airfare, ground transportation, excursions, travel insurance, pre-lube and post-lube hashes are optional additional expenses not covered by the cabin cost, or REGO fee, unless otherwise stated so here, or by our travel agent.

Cabin Deposits: A cabin deposit of $150 per cabin (for 1-2 people) is due Jun 10th, 2023. Cabin costs are likely to increase after this date.

Cabin Cost Due Dates: All group rate bookings must be paid in full by Sep 15th, 2023.

Refunds: If you need to cancel, for any reason, you must do so by Sep 15th, 2023 in order to get a "credit" refund for your cabin and a 100% cash refund on your REGO fees. Cancellations after this date may result in reduced refund amounts. Ask our travel agent about insurance in case you have an emergency and need to cancel after Sep 15th, 2023.

Hash Hotel: Four Points by Sheraton, 4001 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 for It's $179 per night, plus tax. This includes FREE parking at the hotel throughout the cruise, FREE breakfast and a FREE shuttle to and from the ship. Contact our travel agent to make a reservation and to make payment. Pre-Lube Hash: The Brevard Count H3 (BVDH3) will be hosting a trail on Fri night, Jan 26th at or near the hash hotel, Check the itinerary for an exact location. If you opt to participate, you will need to pay your hash cash directly to the hosting kennel as is it is not included as part of this hash cruise's REGO.

Parking During The Cruise: If you are NOT staying at the hash hotel, parking at the cruise terminal is $17.00 per day, plus tax, for vehicles & RVs, including day of arrival and day of departure. Cheaper parking can probably be found nearby if you search for it.

Shuttle To The Port: Free from the hash hotel if you are staying there. See hash hotel, above.

Alcoholic Beverages Aboard Ship: Each adult, 21 and over, will be allowed to hand carry one unopened bottle of your favorite wine aboard ship (2 bottles total per cabin). There is a $10 charge, per bottle, at the port. The ship does not allow you to bring other alcoholic beverages aboard ship. However, since everyone is expected to purchase the liquor package on this cruise, you will not need to bring your own alcohol with you.
