Itinerary (Jan 21-26)


Welcome Aboard: Ye time is nigh to start preparing for the 6th Anal Pirate - Island Invasion of the Jolly Roger Hash House Harriers! But first, we must commandeer a ship. Weee've selected a fine lady! The Carnival Inspiration setting sail January 22nd through January 26th in the year of our lord, two thousand and nine!!!!
 
Here are the preliminaries: This cruise departs out of Tampa, Florida at 4:00 PM, on Thursday, January 22nd 2009. It arrives in Cozumel, Mexico on Saturday morning at 7:00 AM and departs that Saturday evening at 6:00 PM. The ship arrives back in Tampa on Monday morning at 8:00 AM. There will be 3 on board ship hashes and 1 hash in Cozumel.  We will have 3 private cocktail lounge parties with an open bar with free beer & liquor all included in the prices listed below.  In addition, there will also be a hash challenge (games) for prizes on Sunday, January 27th.

Pricing: As of November 24th you can no longer book this cruise at the below group rates. You may still be able to book a cabin on this cruise and be part of our group, but it will be at the "going rates", which change daily. The "going rates" will be higher than what is listed below. Single Occupancy: is $644.10 for an inside cabin, $744.10 for an outside cabin.

Travel Insurance(Optional): Travelers Insurance is an optional $ 49.00 per person. This would allow the cruise passenger after final payment to receive a full refund if a cancellation was needed. 

Payments are as follows: 

1ST DEPOSIT    Only $50.00 PER PERSON UNTIL SEPT 24th, 2008

2ND DEPOSIT   AN ADDITIONAL $150.00 PER PERSON DUE ON SEPT 24TH

FINAL PAYMENT  DUE ON NOV 24, 2008!  There will be penalties added for any changes (cabin mate, cancellations, adding insurance, etc) after this dated!
 

Trails: Theeeeeere will be plenty of booty, treasure and grog to go around, plus many challenges, some old, some new and a hash everyday, including the first night. There will be 4 themed hashes in total.

1. The Commandeering Hash (wear you best pirate attire) aboard ship, on Thursday, evening, January 22nd.
2. The Walk the Plank & Take the Plunge Hash (hash wedding) aboard ship, on Friday afternoon, January 23rd
3. The Pirate Invasion of Cozumel Hash (main event) on Cozumel, on Saturday afternoon, January 24th, and
4. The Smugglers Hash on Sunday afternoon, January 25th, back on board ship
 
Registration: To register respond back to me, Rick "Dabadoo" Geers, at dab@jollyrogerh3.com, or by telephone at 727-204-9837. You must contact me first for pre-approval to join the cruise group first! Please provide the following information;
 
1. Hash Name (if any)
2. Mortal Name
3. E-mail address
4. Men's shirt size (need from both men & women)
5. Women's shirt size (women only)
6. Phone Number (including area code)
7. Gender (M, F or other)
8. Home hash (your current main hash, or other association with hashing, like wife of hasher, friend of hasher, etc)
9. Your nearest major city.

11. Do you plan to attend the pre-lube hash in Tampa, FL on Wednesday, January 21st (Yes or No).

Pre-lube Hash: There will be a pre-lube hash on Wednesday evening, January 21st, 2009, the night before the cruise. We're going to meet in the southwest corner of the Howard Johnson's Resort Hotel parking lot, next to theRicky Ts Beach Bar, at 6:30 PM, on Wednesday, January 21st, 2009. The Howard Johnson's Resort Hotel is located at 6100 Gulf Blvd, in St. Pete Beach, Florida 33706. Its on the beach, just south of Treasure Island. This will also be the hash hotel. 12. If so, do you plan to spend the night at the hash hotel? (Yes or No).

13. Do you want to purchase the "optional" Pirate Pak/Goody Bag for $30 (Yes or No) No longer available. However, you can still order an event T-shirt for $20. Please indicate if you want one (Yes or No)

Goody Bag (Pirate Pak): For an additional $30 you can purchase the Pirate Pak we are offering. It will contain at least one T shirt and several other surprises. To order a T shirt, send an email to dab@jollyrogerh3.com and specify your size and if you want a men's/regular style T-shirt, or a women's cut. 14. Arrival info (date/time/carrier), as applicable. If not flying in, state how you will be arriving (bus/driving/etc).

15. If arrriving by air, at the Tampa airport (TPA), do you want us to try to hook you up with a ride from the airport to the hash hotel, or ship? Or, pair you up with other hashers arrrrriving around the same time as you so you can share a cab, or limo? (Yes or No).

Ground transportation: You are ultimately responsible for all ground transportation. However, if you'd like, we will try to hook you up with a local hasher for a ride to the hash hotel, or ship. If not, then we might be able to pair you up with other arriving hashers so you can share a cab or limo. If you have no other alternative, Super Shuttle’s Shared-Ride Shuttle Van, Max Passengers (7), is $26 for "First Passenger" and $12 for "additional passengers." There are always passengers arriving, bound for St Pete Beach. But FIRST post your need on the Yahoo group page.
