2023: It was a very hot, stormy night. There was lightning everywhere around us,
but none so close as to shut the hash down. It had been so hot the group
actually enjoyed the cool air of an approaching storm. We sent the hare away
just as a few drops of rain came down on us. Luckily, the storm kind of fell
apart right as it got to us. Coincidence? No, I think not. God loves hashing and
didn't want to disturb our trail. Thank you God!
Haystack was the live hare, KISS was the RA, yours truly, Dab, brought the beer,
collected hash cash, acted as On Sec and took all of these photos. 2 Rung Circus
was the FRB, KISS was the FBI and Haystack won the Brainless Award for various
false accusations. I personally thought Haystack's wench, Orange Is The New
Snatch, should've won the award for dicking up the photo op of Haystack being
awarded his 25th run banana. We couldn't see the "25" on the banana. But the
pack voted for Haystack so he won, as the pack always rules.
This was not only Haystack's 19th Anniversary Hash but also his 25th JRH3 trail
and his 6th JRH3 lay. That' a 23.08% trail to hare ratio, which is pretty darn
good.
Guess who's haring again next week? Haystack, of course, unless somebody else
volunteers between now and then. You rock Haystack! Thanks!
